The Tech Mahindra Global Chess League was a fiercely contested campaign for the Triveni Continental Kings. While the team fell short of its competitive expectations, the season was marked by individual brilliance, new beginnings and moments that added to the TCK story.
The season saw the GCL debut of GM Pranav Venkatesh, TCK's Prodigy, who stepped onto the global stage with confidence and maturity beyond his years. GM Alexandra Kosteniuk delivered a standout campaign, finishing with 20 game points and featuring among the league's leading performers.
The Kings also found a measure of redemption, securing a 2-0 record against the Season 3 champions, a meaningful response following last season's final.
